Omega-3 – EPA & DHA

Hemp oil

ALA

Osteoarthrosis, a chronic joint disease, combines inflammation, causing pain, and progressive degradation of cartilage. It is more visible in dogs but also affects cats The pain significantly reduces movement in the affected joints, which causes the problems to get worse. Often, joint diseases appear because of injuries or are the result of wear and tear due to age.
Certain dog breeds are also predisposed to this disease, including large breeds like the Rottweiler, Labrador retriever, Golden Retriever, and herding dogs.
In cats, osteoarthritis generally appears with age. This mobility disorder is often less diagnosed because it is simply less visible than in dogs. Treatsy Hip & Joint functional oil is composed of a blend of 3 oils which naturally provide the Omega-3 and Omega-6 fatty acids that your pet needs.
1 – Omega-3 fatty acids, EPA & DHA: these essential fatty acids are scientifically proven to have health benefits for dogs and cats, particularly in the joints. With over 41% Omega-3, 8% EPA and 5% DHA present in our oil, they play a crucial role in combating the inflammatory cycle and the pain associated with it.
2 – Hemp seed oil: it is known for its anti-stress and soothing properties, but it also helps fight joint pain by providing essential fatty acids with anti-inflammatory properties.
3 – Alpha-linolenic acid (ALA): precursor of the Omega-3 family, allows the body of dogs and cats to synthesize other Omega-3 fatty acids including EPA and DHA which allow them to effectively fight against osteoarthritis and other mobility disorders.
4 – A high Omega-3 to Omega-6 ratio: by providing much more Omega-3 than Omega-6, our functional oil helps effectively fight joint inflammation.
To improve your dog’s mobility even more effectively, we recommend combining Treatsy oil with our Treatsy Hip & Joint chews. These provide chondroprotectors, collagen, glucosamine, MSM, hyaluronic acid and other nutrients that help fight inflammation, support cartilage health and improve dog mobility.
1/2 teaspoon per day (2.5 ml) per 5kg of weight. Increase gradually by 2.5ml per 5kg.
We recommend pouring the daily dose of oil onto your pet’s usual dry or wet food.
